About Us

Our story

The Proverbs 31 Women’s Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises up young women in God’s image through free female mentorship and enrichment programs for teens, community service in underprivileged neighborhoods, and Christian discipleship for young adults through events, podcast streaming, and online media.

The Proverbs 31 Women’s Organization provides positive and reassuring content for a generation that is struggling with identity, truth, and purpose as a result of a technology-centered world.

Since founded by CEO Crystal Ngumezi on December 19, 2016, this organization has served over 100 teens across Texas through P31 Academy, and thousands of young adults globally through social media and podcast streaming, with the potential to reach over 1 million young women around the world.

Program for Teen Girls

P31 Academy is our free mentorship and enrichment program for female students (13-18 years old) from low-income families living in underprivileged neighborhoods. In P31 Academy, students participate in virtual programming and in-person mentorship where they engage in a curriculum based on four core principles: female empowerment through goal setting, STEM exposure, college readiness, and professional etiquette training. Through P31 Academy, students become more confident, explore STEM educational opportunities, prepare for graduating high school, and walk boldly into their futures!

“This program has helped me set my priorities between school and work. P31 has helped me with time management.“

Programs for Young Adults

The Modern Day P31 Woman Podcast is a Christian podcast show for young adult women (18-25 years old). Hosted by Crystal Ngumezi, CEO/Founder of The Proverbs 31 Women’s Organization, women explore what it means and looks like to live a purpose-filled life in today’s society using biblical teachings, personal testimonies, and Christian principles. The P31 Experience is an annual event that brings together women (25-35 years old) of diverse backgrounds to connect, explore what it means to be a female Christian disciple in today’s world, and gain practical and spiritual truths to navigate successfully throughout life in a modern-day society.

“Thank You for your words of wisdom. I really enjoyed this podcast and I found it to be very insightful and enlightening. Hearing these words came at the perfect time in my life where I haven’t been feeling my best but, you reminded me to trust the process, put my hope in God and to continue relying on him.”

“This podcast is this such a blessing to me!!! I’ve been listening since last year and how much I’ve grown spiritually has been amazing! I can relate to a lot of the things that crystal talks about and it’s so good to know that someone is truly concerned about speaking on the matter of the truth when it comes to Christ and not just what’s popular. Overall, it’s hard not to love this podcast ❤️.”
