Hey love! These past few weeks have been quit the experience…
All of my life, I have dealt with witches, liars, manipulators, and wolves in sheep’s clothing. I didn’t realize that my experiences were the evidence of God’s glory: that God was going to use me to uproot the plans, the lies, and the delusions of satan that have plagued God’s people for generations.
This is my story, as a witness of our Lord Jesus Christ, that I am going to tell!
Let’s explore what it means and looks like to deal with and interface with liars, deceivers, witches, false prophets and the like, by exploring the demons, insecurities, and undealt with trauma that may lie within ourselves.

Anchor Verse
Today’s anchor verses are pulled from the books of Matthew 6:24, Exodus 20:23, Psalms 81:9, and 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.
I know it seems like a lot, but for this topic – it’s necessary.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money” – Matthew 6:24
“Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.” – Exodus 20:23
“You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me” – Psalms 81:9
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Why so many scriptures for one Blog Post?
Well, because souls are on the line and this message is very important.
Are you in covenant with God or with your sin?
Do you have a polytheism belief system where you serve many gods?
When you serve multiple gods or attach yourself to multiple souls, you create a disassociation with self – you become disconnected with who you really are, and you create a disassociation of your psyche (your soul).

Lukewarm Christianity
Let’s talk about what it means and looks like to be a Lukewarm Christian.
You will find this term being used when God (through Jesus Christ) uses John to write a letter to 1 of 7 churches God was dealing with. In the book of Revelation, God explicitly cites,
So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:16
Evidence of a lukewarm Christian is someone who compromises their lifestyle to live in sin and idolatry.
This can look like a “believer” who attends church services regularly, but lives a secret life dedicated to the pursuit and the fulfillment of sinful pleasures like gluttony, fornication, drunkenness, dissension, fits of wrath/anger, substance abuse (like smoking weed), adultery, and the like (fruits of the flesh as mentioned in Galatians 5).
Going to church, reciting scripture, and praying vain prayers to God does not make you a Christian.
Being in a love-covenant with God does, where you have a heart that is sensitive to the will of the Father, and you have fruits of the Holy Spirit with convictions.
A lukewarm Christian is a church goer who cares more about protecting their image than their devotional life and service to God.
False Prophets
On my journey to wholeness, God has allowed my path to cross several false prophets.
Why?
So that I could be revealed to the truth and how satan uses people (willing vessels) to accomplish his will (strategy/desire to overthrow God).
For many believers, it can often be hard or difficult to spot out even the most craftiest of false prophets, often because we as human beings tend to be led by our flesh (lusts, sinful desires, insecurities).
False prophets will always pull on your emotional heart strings and twist the words of God by using your insecurities (and often distrust of God/God’s word) against you.

Just because someone has perceived “knowledge,” does not mean that “knowledge” came from God.
Satan has many false prophets in the world (today) who are using signs and wonders to mislead others (even the elect/believers). This is why it is important to be led and guided by God’s voice, and by God’s voice alone.
and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Matthew 24:11
Your unwillingness to submit to God’s word could cost you your life.
Evidence of a false prophet will always be exhibited in the substance they abuse (drunkenness, sinful acts like fornication, adultery, homosexuality, sorcery, division (always stirring up mess/trouble/discord), smoking weed, an obsession with astrology, and etc.)
Lookup the fruits of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-26.
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Galatians 5:19-26
The Bible tells us that those who practice such things (sinful lifestyle) will NOT inherit the kingdom of God.
The symptom is in the practice. The evidence of a false prophet is in their habits and in their lifestyle.
God’s word and God’s will is not attracted to sinful acts (that can be displayed in the lives of his children).
God will never lead you to fulfill the desires of your flesh in an effort to honor His word.
God will never lead you to sin, but a false prophet will always lead you to engage in the practice and the lifestyle of sin – the fulfilling of lustful desires.

Why it’s Dangerous to Play with Sin/Play with Temptation from the Devil
Did you know that the devil wants to bind your feet?
The Bible says that God told satan he would bruise Jesus’s (the seed of woman) heel, but Jesus (the seed of woman) would crush his head.
And I will put enmity
Genesis 3:15
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.
The power you’ve been waiting for is in your feet standing and moving on God’s word!
Peter stepping out the boat (in the middle of a storm) wasn’t just a physical miracle due to him walking on water, but it was a spiritual miracle because despite the fear that bound the other disciples in the boat, Peter stepped out of fear onto to God’s word.
“Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
Matthew 14:29
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Those steps are God’s word.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
Psalms 37:23-24
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Psalms 1 tells us not to WALK in the counsel of the ungodly, not to STAND in the way of sinners (bondage), and not to SIT in the seat of scoffers/gossipers/the judgmental (those who have made comfort in bondage).
Blessed is the man
Psalms 1:1-3
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
It’s about your movement.

Satan wants to bind your feet by getting you to walk away from God’s word. This is why it’s important to meditate on the word of God daily, to ensure you are walking in the will of God – which is the word of God.
Your steps are God’s word. Not what you think about God’s word, but what God’s word actually SAYS.
When satan tempted Eve in the garden, he played to her insecurities, her lusts, and her desires, and attacked what God said. Satan started with doubt (a psychological weapon of spiritual warfare) and then fed Eve a lie, and when Eve received that lie, she fed it to her husband, and mankind fell. Satan has been using this same tactic/method of spiritual warfare since the beginning of our time.
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Genesis 3:1-6
God wants you to step back out onto his word.
What did God tell you?
What does God’s word say in the Bible?
As a believer, what keeps you from becoming lukewarm and being bound is trusting, believing, and WALKING on God’s word. This is why James tells us to not just be a HEARER of the WORD but a DOER also. The power is in you actually DOING what God’s word tells you.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
James 1:22
The Bible also tells us that he who hears the word but does not do it is like a man who looked intently at himself in the mirror and walked away, forgetting what he saw.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
James 1:23-24
Are you doing what God’s word says?
If not, you are either bond by sin, cutoff from hearing God’s word because of the lifestyle you’ve adapted or blinded in some area because of an attack by satan.
Fast, get in your Bible, and meditate on God’s word daily, that you may be able to do what God’s word tells you.
As a believer, your steps are the word of God.

Jesus said in the wilderness (when he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights) that man does not live by bread alone (that which feeds are outward self), but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Matthew 4:4
It was the word of God that kept Jesus from being tempted by satan.
The Bible tells us to submit to God, resist the devil, and he shall flee.
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
The way of escape that God promised us in the midst of temptation is His word.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Our way of escape from temptation is in us actually doing what God’s word tells us to do.
This is how you flee from temptation:
- Command your flesh to WALK in what God’s word says.
Bring your body into the submission of what God’s word tells you, and until you are ready to do this in real life, you will always be bound – not because God hasn’t given you the power to overcome, but because you refuse to obey His word and commandments.
Who do you love? Your flesh or God’s will?
The Bible tells us that God gives us the desires of our hearts when we delight in His will (His word).
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
Psalms 37:4
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
God’s word is His will.
Are you in it? Are you following Gods word?
You are not in Gods will if you are not following God’s word. This is how you are able to discern a false prophet from a true prophet: look at the fruit.
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Matthew 7:16-20
If you ever come across a “prophet,” ask yourself, “Do they honor God’s word with their lifestyle?” If not, then they are NOT a true prophet from God – they were sent to mislead you.
A lack of conviction shows a person who is dead spiritually.
Who Do You Love?
So, I want to ask you again,
“Who do you love?”

That which you defend and justify is your master.
If you are willing to defend your sin but are quiet when Jesus’s name is being slandered in the streets – you have chosen sin as your master.
Silent rejection is still rejection, and Jesus says if we reject him, he will reject us to his father (God).
But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:33
Satan wants to bind your mouth from speaking the truth about Jesus’s name, Jesus’s miracles and Jesus’s power to others so that his demonic agenda can prevail.
God wants to use your mouth to proclaim the goodness of the Lord to the world because it saves and delivers.
Jesus gave the “Great Commission” because it was a strategy to release those who have been bound by satan’s power:
- Satan’s grip of deception, lies, and defeat.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20
God wants to use your mouth as a weapon.
Will you let him?
The Bible tells us that we overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony. Your words of God’s truth and of your testimony is a weapon that God created to use.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11
God gave man authority to use his mouth as a weapon to bind on earth and to loosen on earth that which shall be bound in heaven and loosed in heaven (in the spirit realm).
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven…”
Matthew 18:18

Will you let God use your mouth today?
God wants to use you through your lips, your words, your mouth and your movement to be an attack on hell and proof that God’s word reigns and is the ultimate authority.
