Warfare Over Your Seed

“And I will put enmity

Between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head,

And you shall bruise His heel.” – Genesis 3:15, NKJV

Isn’t this a beautiful piece of scripture?

What is God saying here? God is communicating to use through scripture that there will be warfare over your seed.

We know that the seed of the woman God is referring to in scripture is Jesus, and I also believe that this is true for the seed of the word God has deposited in you.

Since the beginning of our time, there has been warfare over God’s seed.

God wants me to tell you that the seed he has deposited in you means something. That it is good, and that he is on his way to you.

We should not take God’s words in vain and know that God’s word will not return unto him void. It will accomplish what it was sent to do.

God also wants me to communicate to you that your labor has been tough because of what you’re producing.

God will come through for you in the end. Stay in it. Stay in the fight, and KEEP PUSHING.

Jesus dying on the cross was a seed.

His death signified that there was a war over the seed of God.

In scripture, we as believers are described as God’s “first fruits.”

“Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” – James 1:18, KJV

Jesus was the seed that was sown to produce us. God’s first fruits. A good work.

This is why the Gospel of Jesus Christ is called GOOD NEWS. It is good news that you are saved (that your soul is saved).

With that being said,

How can we repay God for all he has done for us?

By choosing to give him back what he has freely given to us – Our lives.

Look at it this way –

Imagine God giving you $100 and then asking you for it back, but instead of you giving it back to him, you try to bargain with him instead to offer him less than what he gave you.

– That’s what we do when we choose to keep our lives separate from God.

In this season, God wants me to tell you that he has not abandoned you.

Trust the seed that he gave you – it is the seed of Christ.

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4, NKJV
